The actual loss in weight per unit of time is compared against the required set-point, which is defined by the downstream process. Differences between the actual loss in weight per unit of time and the set-point are corrected by changes in the screw speed automatically.
The weight loss is measured by a highly accurate, very sensitive, high output electronic strain gauge sensor. It is a precision construction for heavy duty device designed for long term stability and accuracy under the most demanding applications. It is initially calibrated and installed by the factory and normally requires no routine maintenance.
